Attention Grade 10 Students!
Are you an enthusiastic, articulate, strong public speaker, dedicated to nurturing and improving their publicly funded Catholic education, and committed to playing a leadership role in the York Catholic District School Board? If you believe you fit this description, please complete an application package to be SBA’s candidate for the next Student Trustee! Only one applicant will be selected from SBA. That individual will then be considered amongst all other candidates from all YCDSB Secondary schools. This is a two-year position and only Grade 10 students who plan to remain a full-time student for the next two years (2024-2026) are eligible to apply. This is a tremendous learning and leadership opportunity.
Please read the application package carefully and note the following:
1. The application due to Ms. Cosentino by April 12th at 8:30am
2. Submit your application to christine.cosentino@ycdsbk12.
3. Applicants will be called to meet with Ms. Cosentino briefly before a decision is made regarding which application will be submitted to the Board.
4. Ms. Cosentino will submit the SBA candidate application by Friday, April 19th.
