Dear Parents/Guardians,
As a valued stakeholder in your child’s learning journey, find below activities to engage you and your child in the YCDSB course selection process.
There are two very important tools for you to consider that will help facilitate this process: myBlueprint and Exploring the Possibilities.
Find attached login and course selection information for myBlueprint.
Please be aware that your son/daughter will be supported with the process through the Guidance department of the YCDSB secondary school they are currently attending or have registered to attend in September.
We have also provided you with pre-course selection activities you may consider doing with your son/daughter to support them in their learning.
For those intending to take a Summer School Course:
- If you intend to take a Summer School course prior to the commencement of your next academic year, please do not select that course as part of your day school bundle of courses.
- Please indicate your intention to take a Summer School course in the “Comment” field in myBlueprint so that your counsellor is aware and we can ensure you have met all of your program and course prerequisites.
- NOTE: this is only a statement of intention, NOT registration for Summer School. Course options for Summer School will be made available at ce.ycdsb.ca

NOTE: The formal course selection process begins in February. The information provided in this email will allow you time to engage in meaningful conversations and exploration with your son/daughter.
